Catching up
May. 2nd, 2006 | 03:01 pm
So it's been a while so I'll try to get in as much as possible. I ran my first marathon a couple weeks ago, which was pretty painful, but I finished. That's 26.3 miles for those of you who don't know. The semester is almost over, and I'm pretty excited to get my grades and such, it should be pretty good. Actually now that I think about it that's all I've really done. Isn't it funny how a couple weeks worth of stuff doesn't seem that cool to talk about except for like 2 things? Anyway, hopefully everyone does well on exams and let me know if you're in town and we'll hang out and do stuff. I'll be gone for the whole month of June most likely, but that should be it. Have a good one.

So check it out

Lets see, in the last 4 days I've gotten 8 hours of sleep, had a bowling tournament, finished a 25 page lab report and got asked to go to prom...again. It's 5 PM on Wednesday, which means I've been up for 36 straight hours and I only got 3 hours of sleep Monday night and was up at 5 on Monday, which means in the last 60 hours, I've gotten 3 hours of sleep. Woo Hoo!!! Other than that, it's two and a half weeks until my marathon and it's about time for me to go to sleep. Hope everything is going well for you out there. Love all around.

Another day

So this morning I had batallion PT, which was a joke. I have been put in charge of leading the Iron man team for Bravo company, which is exactly 1 week after the marathon that I'm running, so that should be interesting. I had a dynamics test today that I think went ok, we'll see later on next week though. I'm looking forward to tomorrow night. I've got a batallion social event at Jillians and am being accompanied by the lovely Claire Wagoner, definately one of my favorite people of all time. So that should be good. Other than that I'm working tonight, yay for the bowling alley. Have a great day/night/whatever it is for you.
Have you ever wondered what would have happened if something was different? Maybe there was more time, or you were closer to someone. Maybe you took a chance and said, "forget the odds, what do they matter anyway, that's everyone else, not me, not you." It's always better to regret doing something then regretting not doing something. That's what I always thought. Now I think it's better to regret doing something then to regret not doing something or not doing it completely. Just thought I'd share some of what goes on in my head, for those of you who are interested in paying attention. Enjoy living, and don't be afraid to live.

Wow it's been forever since I've used this, but I don't feel like studying for my dynamics test so here I am. Let's see, I'll try to catch up anyone who has forgotten about me in the last while. I'm running a marathon on April 15 in Charlottesville, VA, and it'll be the first time that I visit a friend up there too. That should be fun. I went home to see my parents for spring break, which was a bunch of fun. Other than that I've been trying to see lots of people and I've been working a lot. That's it for now. Have a good one.

Catching up for yesterday

So yesterday I ate lunch with Jenna, Steven, and Jill Guyton which was a load of fun. Then all of us except for Jill went to see matt and kyle at Chapel Hill. That was a lot of fun too. Then as I drove back to work, I called my parents to see what was up and I found out that my mom had gotten in a bad car accident the day before...not too pretty. She's doing well though, she cracked a rib, and was coughing up some dust from the air bags, but other than that and some bruising, she's doing fine...so that was good and bad news. It most likely totaled their Expedition, which can give you an idea of how hard she got hit. Then I worked with Jimmy and Megan Callahan, which was a lot of fun. I got my paycheck from last week, and thank the lord, I finally got a good pay check...just kidding. But it was nice though. Alright, I'm done. Have a good good friday.

So this is still a wonderful week. I had my last two classes of the week today. This was followed by a very tasty lunch with the lovely Christina Kmetz. Then I worked for a long time, but I got over 30 hours this week...can a brother get a cha-ching!? It was also the first of four days in a row when I'm working, but it's been fun working there, and I'm working with kick ass people all week so that makes it even better. How about this weather we've had lately? It has been absolutely splendid if I might say. But if you're coming back for easter, call me and we'll do lunch either friday or saturday, that's really the only time that I'm free from work, unless you want to get gypsies at like 3 in the morning, which would make my night too. Have a happy easter with your families. Peace.

What a week

This has turned out to be an awesome week...not for any particular reason, it just has been. It should be a good rest of the week too, lunch tomorrow with Christina, working tomorrow night with Brian, lunch thursday with the beautifuls Miss Guyton, Miss Ready, and Mr. Mason before heading to Chapel Hill to see Kyle and Matt. I've apparently lost 10 pounds, which is good becuase my fat has gone away, but I have 10 pounds less muscle then last semester, but it's coming back. Alright, well that's probably enough for you guys to hear. Oh yeah, I think I did well on my differential equations test, so we'll see how that turns out.
POD: Just say fuck it. Not worrying about shit makes life so much easier.
JOD: Taken from USA Today;
A woman, married for 10 years, had an affair with her husband with a younger man. She told her friends it was because her husband couldn't find a job and was getting fat. Her "manwhore" beat her to death after she moved in with him. Three months later, her widowed husband hit the state lottery which was only $50 million. More ironically, he invested his money and bought a fitness company, now the largest fitness company in the state of New York.
This goes to show you...well I don't know what it shows you, but it's got to show something.

Long Week
Mar. 21st, 2005 | 10:00 pm
So tomorrow I have my second test in differential equations, which should be extremely interesting. Wish me luck. It was such a nice day outside, it should have been a crime that I was inside all day studying. Tomorrow I have to plan my schedule for next semester and get it approved. That is after I wake up at 6 to get weighed, study for several hours, take my test, and have a lab for ROTC. Then I have to study for my test in US Naval History, which is basically the last thing I have before the end of my week, which comes at 10 AM Wednesday, party for me. But other than being entirely too busy, things are great...peace.

So lets see, I got home around 4 this morning, and was up at 7 to get ready for church. It was a nice service, except then I had nothing to do forever until my bowling tournament, which seemed like was forever to wait. But I bowled alright, I might make the next cut, I'm not too sure yet, I'll find out in a couple of weeks. Then I went to work, the first 3 hours weren't too bad considering I had someone else to work with, but the next 4 I was by myself so time went by so slowly. But that's really all I have. Have a good one, bye.

Today a group of us went to the park, even though most of them didn't show up because they were busy, but whatever. Then Kyle, Matt, Vicki, and Jill Pal decided to head over to get some lunch at the soda shop. That was fun, then I drove Vicki home and we talked for like half an hour in my car. Now I'm getting ready to go to work, which hopefully will be like last night. Might be doing something afterwards, but I'm not too sure, probably nothing too late, I've got a lot of stuff to do tomorrow. Have a good whatever you're having. Bye
